Pursuant to Regulation 30 read with Schedule III Part A Para A of SEBI Listing Regulations, Tata Consultancy Services has informed that, Tata Consultancy Services (Africa) (Proprietary) (TCS Africa), a wholly owned subsidiary of the company (TCS) and Tata Consultancy Services (South Africa) (Proprietary) (TCS SA), a step down wholly owned subsidiary of TCS have entered into an agreement with Isisekelo Sethu Trust to sell and dispose off 30% of shares held by TCS Africa in TCS SA to comply with the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) guidelines in South Africa. Consequent to the above transaction, TCS SA will cease to be a wholly owned step-down subsidiary of TCS. The company has enclosed the details as prescribed under SEBI Listing Regulations read with SEBI circular SEBI/HO/CFD/CFD-PoD-1/P/CIR/2023/123 dated July 13, 2023, as Annexure A.
