TRL Krosaki Refractories has received the coveted ‘Golden Peacock Award for Occupational Health and Safety’ for the year 2013 from the Institute of Directors, New Delhi. The company has received this prestigious award consecutively twice in a row. The company had also received the Golden Peacock Commendation Award for Environment Management in 2011.

The award was conferred on TRL Krosaki consecutively twice in a row in recognition of its commitment and continuous improvement in occupational health and safety management. The company has won this award in the engineering category, competing with established players in the field.

TRL Krosaki Refractories (formerly Tata Refractories) presently the largest producer of refractories in India, with a product range comprising high alumina refractories, basic refractories, dolomite refractories, silica refractories etc. Tata Steel holds 26.46% equity stake in the company.
