Larsen & Toubro Ltd.

Larsen & Toubro has informed that the Company made a disclosure on November 17, 2023 in respect financial penalties amounting to QAR 104,502,976 (~ INR 239 crore) arbitrarily levied by The General Tax Authority, State of Qatar, covering financial years 2016-17 and 2017-18 and the decision of the Company to appeal against the same. The Company’s appeal has been allowed by the Court of Appeal, State of Qatar, vide its order dated January 29, 2025 whereby the above penalties and the relative tax demands have been annulled in toto as being arbitrary and contrary to law. This disclosure is made based on the information received by the Company Secretary and Compliance Officer on January 30, 2025.
