Bharat Electronics surges on reporting 52% jump in Q3 consolidated net profit

Bharat Electronics is currently trading at Rs. 292.30, up by 13.40 points or 4.80% from its previous closing of Rs. 278.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 284.35 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 293.45 and Rs. 281.40 respectively. So far 2647688 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 340.35 on 10-Jul-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 171.70 on 13-Feb-2024.

Bharat Electronics has reported 47.33% rise in its net profit at Rs 1316.06 crore for third quarter ended December 31, 2024 (Q3FY25) as compared to Rs 893.30 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 36.73% at Rs 5961.20 crore for Q3FY25 as compared to Rs 4359.84 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 52.47% rise in its net profit at Rs 1311.60 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2024, as compared to Rs 860.26 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 37.6% at Rs 5957.07 crore for Q3FY25 as compared to Rs 4329.58 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
