Kotak Mahindra Bank is planning to open 100 new branches across the country in the current fiscal year. Following the opening of 100 more branches, the bank will cross a mark of total 550 branches. At present, the bank has all India network of 450 branches and 969 ATMs. The bank has 67 branches across Gujarat and is planning to improve its customer base in the western state by at least 20-25 per cent every year over next few years, he added.

Recently, the bank reported 42.61% rise in its net profit at Rs 402.82 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 282.45 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank has increased by 28.95% at Rs 2652.40 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 2056.98 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2012.
