Mahindra & Mahindra’s (M&M) - two wheeler arm - Mahindra Two Wheelers has reported a 46% increase in July vehicle sales at 14,612 units. It was able to achieve this growth on the back of increase in sales of its newly launched Centuro motorcycle. It sold 10,158 units of Centuro during the first month of its launch. The company has rolled out Centuro on July 1 with a Rs 45,000 at ex showroom New Delhi.

The two wheeler maker currently has 400 dealerships and 500 touch-points and aims to expand those to 600 dealerships and 1,000 touch-points in the next six-to-eight months. It is likely to expand its manufacturing facility at Pithampur, near Indore, and its R&D centre at Chinchwad, Pune.
