Coal India, the world’s largest coal miner by output has reported production of 32.77 million tonnes in July 2013, as against target of 33.44 million tonnes. Meanwhile, the company’s total sales for the month of July stood at 38.22 million tonnes as against a target of 36.07 million tonnes.

Coal India is the world’s largest coal mining company. It also produces non-coking coal and coking coal of various grades for diverse applications.
