Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a leading IT services, consulting and business solutions firm, will start developing its facility located at special economic zone (SEZ) whereby a foundation laying ceremony and construction facility will take place on August 10 in the Super Corridor area on the outskirts of Indore city.

The software major under first phase will develop its premises with an investment of Rs 550 crore within two years. After the completion of first-phase, 5,000 people will get direct employment and 15,000 others will get indirect employment at the facility. The facility will be completed fully in five phases, after which 25,000 people would get direct and another one lakh would get indirect employment.

The company has been provided 100 acre of land at concessional rates by the Madhya Pradesh government with an agreement that 50% of jobs would be given to people from the state.
