Shree Cement organized Blood Donation Camp on Aug 07

Shree Cement, as part of its ‘Samaj Sewa’ (CSR) initiative, has created a history by organizing a massive Blood Donation Camp on August 07, 2013. The event christened as, Shree Raktdaan Maha Abhiyan’ was organized simultaneously across 12 locations of Company's plants as well as at its offices/ units located at Delhi, Jaipur and Kolkata. More than 4000 units of blood was donated in this memorable event by voluntary donors which is a remarkable achievement and record in the Indian corporate sector.

Shree cement has always been a front runner in the area of Social development. ‘Shree Ladies Club (a club formed by spouse of employees of Shree Cement) organized the entire event. Company dedicated the success of this great campaign to all the donors and thanked all the guests, govt, officers and employees for making this a great campaign.

Shree Cement (SCL), belonging to B.G.Bangur - H. M. Bangur faction of Bangur family of Kolkata, is engaged in manufacturing of cement and power generation. SCL’s eight cement plants in Rajasthan and one grinding unit in Uttrakhand have an aggregate capacity of 13.5 mn tonnes p.a. (PPC; OPC capacity -9 mn tonnes p.a.)
