Bharti Airtel’s subsidiary - Airtel M Commerce Services (AMSL) has reportedly done a tie-up with the Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) to offer railway bookings through Airtel money. The Airtel customer travelling by rail will now be able to dial *400# on Airtel mobile phones and enjoy the convenience of booking tickets through mobile phones via Airtel money. Through this service, customers can not only making ticket bookings but also search for stations, trains, availability, PNR enquiry, cancellation etc. Earlier, the company has launched a mobile phone service for paying electricity bills by consumers of North Bihar Power Distribution Company (NBPDCL).
