Bajaj Finance moves higher on the bourses

Bajaj Finance is currently trading at Rs. 1245.10, up by 1.85 points or 0.15% from its previous closing of Rs. 1243.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1255.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1273.75 and Rs. 1212.00 respectively. So far 1401 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1591.20 on 21-May-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs. 990.42 on 30-Aug-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1273.75 and Rs. 1010.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 6233.99 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 62.07% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 18.48% and 19.45% respectively.

Foreign investor Acacia II Partners LP has bought more than three lakh shares of Bajaj Finance for Rs 33 crore. Acacia has bought 3,00,803 shares of the company at an average price of Rs 1,100 per share through open market transaction.

Bajaj Finance, a subsidiary of Bajaj Finserv, is engaged in the business of consumer finance, SME finance and commercial lending. Bajaj Finserv proposes to convert Bajaj Finance into a bank as per the Reserve Bank of India’s February 2013 guidelines.
