Container Corporation Of India Ltd.

With an aim to promote Green & Sustainable Logistics, Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) and The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for Setting up Centre of Excellence (COE) for Green & Sustainable Logistics in TERI.

The centre will be an integral part of Transport and Urban Governance Division of TERI. Under this centre, TERI will undertake detailed research and policy development work in collaboration with CONCOR. The Collaboration seeks to maximize detailed research and to find innovative solutions towards sustainable logistics, particularly relevant to the rail transportation, terminal operations, warehousing & storage management, greening of built infrastructure and to comply various legislative frameworks. 

Container Corporation of India (CONCOR), was incorporated in March 1988. The company’s core business is characterised by three distinct activities, that of a carrier, a terminal operator, and a warehouse operator.
