FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per August 19 data: SEBI

The FIIs as per Monday’s data were net sellers in equity and debt segments both, according to data released by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 4330.40 crore against gross selling of Rs 4833.20 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 502.80 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 686.60 crore with gross sales of Rs 850.80 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 164.20 crore in debt.
