NBCC (India) soars on signing MoU with MAHAPREIT

NBCC (India) is currently trading at Rs. 83.08, up by 2.02 points or 2.49% from its previous closing of Rs. 81.06 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 82.61 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 83.80 and Rs. 82.24 respectively. So far 328986 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 139.83 on 28-Aug-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 70.82 on 03-Mar-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 86.25 and Rs. 80.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 22512.60 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 61.75%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 13.09% and 25.16% respectively.

NBCC (India) has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Technology (MAHAPREIT) on March 26, 2025. This collaboration aims to jointly undertake a wide range of consultancy, fee-based, EPC and redevelopment projects from concept to commissioning. With this collaboration, NBCC will be entering into redevelopment for the first time in Maharashtra after having great success in transforming the landscape of Delhi through this unique redevelopment model.

Under this partnership, NBCC and MAHAPREIT will collaborate on key infrastructure projects in Maharashtra, including cluster development projects in Thane Municipal Corporation, data centres, renewable energy initiatives, slum rehabilitation projects in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) and various residential projects under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY).

These projects, with an estimated value of Rs 25,000 crore, will be executed in a phased manner over the next three to five years, contributing to sustainable urban development and affordable housing in line with the Government of India’s vision. The MoU seeks to leverage each party’s strengths and complement their capabilities, with the objective of enhancing long-term client acquisition and service delivery capabilities.
