Power Finance Corporation’s wholly owned subsidiary -- PFC Consulting (Power Finance Corporation Consulting) has transferred its wholly owned subsidiary -- Kumool III PS RE Transmission to Power Grid Corporation of India, the successful bidder on March 27, 2025.

Kurnool III PS RE Transmission is a special purpose vehicle (SPV) established for the development of Transmission system strengthening at Kumool-III PS for integration of additional RE generation projects. The consideration received from the sale of SPV is Rs 19.04 crore as per the Share Purchase Agreement. 

Power Finance Corporation is engaged in providing financial assistance to Power Utilities for meeting financing and development requirements of the power sector.
