Tata Motors and Castrol have jointly developed new engine oil-- Castrol RX Super Max Fuel Saver, which will help truck operator to save up to Rs 20,000 per annum in fuel cost. The new premium lube has proved to reduce fuel intake by as much as 1.5%, which has been seconded by Tata Motors. Both the firms took four years to develop the Castrol RX Super Max Fuel Saver, the first engine oil to be endorsed by an OEM in the world. The premium lube is priced at Rs 389 per litre.
