Persistent Systems surges on reporting 26% rise in Q4 consolidated net profit

Persistent Systems is currently trading at Rs. 5289.00, up by 126.30 points or 2.45% from its previous closing of Rs. 5162.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 5268.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 5384.90 and Rs. 5230.00 respectively. So far 86208 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 6788.80 on 20-Dec-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 3232.60 on 04-Jun-2024.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 5384.90 and Rs. 4723.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 81731.23 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 30.66%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 51.21% and 18.12% respectively.

Persistent Systems has reported 56.36% rise in its net profit at Rs 287.64 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 183.96 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 92.28% at Rs 3,203.55 crore for Q4FY25 as compared Rs 1,666.08 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 25.51% rise in its net profit at Rs 395.76 crore for fourth quarter ended March 31, 2025 as compared to Rs 315.32 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 24.38% at Rs 3,260.47 crore for Q4FY25 as compared Rs 2,621.31 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year. 

For the year ended March 31, 2025, the company has reported 17.19% rise in its net profit at Rs 1,155.14 crore as compared to Rs 985.67 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 78.31% at Rs 11,908.85 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 6,678.70 crore for year ended March 31, 2024.

For the year ended March 31, 2025, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported 28.05% rise in its net profit at Rs 1,400.16 crore as compared to Rs 1,093.49 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 21.38% at Rs 12,076.87 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 9,949.61 crore for year ended March 31, 2024.
