United Spirits Ltd.

Damani Estate & Finance has acquired up 33,500 shares of United Spirits, the maker of McDowell’s and Bagpiper whiskies, for Rs 7.19 crore. The shares were from Bright Star Investments through open market transactions at an average price of Rs 2,149.

United Spirits is the largest spirits company in India and a flagship entity of $2 billion UB group. It manufactures wide range of whisky, vodka, rum and other spirits.
