L&T trades higher on bagging orders worth Rs 807 crore

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) is currently trading at Rs. 731.70, up by 9.55 points or 1.32% from its previous closing of Rs. 722.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 723.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 732.75 and Rs. 710.00 respectively. So far 126406 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1146.33 on 29-Oct-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 678.10 on 28-Aug-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 759.75 and Rs. 678.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 67404.93 crore.

The institutions and non-institutions held 53.07% and 43.78% stake in the company, respectively.

L&T Hydrocarbon, a brand of Larsen and Toubro (L&T) has secured new orders worth Rs 807 crore for the supply of cracking furnace modules and parts, supply of equipment, EPC execution of cryogenic ethylene package, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical & instrumentation for petrochemical complexes of oil companies in India. Fabrication and assembly work for all the modules and equipment will be done at Lars modular fabrication facility at Hazira near Surat.
