REC’s wholly owned subsidiary -- REC Power Development and Consultancy has incorporated wholly owned subsidiary in the name of Robertsganj Power Transmission. 

Robertsganj Power Transmission has been incorporated for transmission system for evacuation of power from pumped storage projects in Sonbhadra District, Uttar Pradesh.

REC is engaged in providing financial assistance to state electricity boards, state government departments and rural electric cooperatives for rural electrification projects as are sponsored by them.
