Maruti Suzuki India’s total vehicle production has increased by 1.38% to 1,95,882 units in May 2025 as compared to 1,93,207 units in May 2024. During the period, production of in compact category including Baleno, Celerio, Dzire, Ignis, Swift and WagonR grew marginally to 90,001 units against to 89,913 units produced last year. Besides, production of utility vehicles like Brezza, Ertiga, Fronx, Jimny, XL6 and OEM models has grown 11.35% to 78,873 units in May 2025 as compared to 70,831 units in May 2024. Further, company has produced 14,406 units of Eeco in the month of May against 13,804 units in same period last year, a growth of 4.36%. 

Meanwhile, the production under mini category including Alto and S-Presso has slumped 27.13% to 10,186 units in May 2025 against 13,978 units in same period last year. Further, production of light commercial vehicle Super Carry has declined 25.50% to 2,416 units in May 2025 as compare to 3,243 units in May 2024.
