5.95 (0.13%) InterGlobe Aviation (IndiGo) has launched direct flights between CSM International airport, Mumbai and Schiphol airport, Amsterdam. This is the airline’s second long-haul route, following the successful introduction of services to Manchester. This move signifies effective execution of IndiGo’s internationalisation strategy - ‘Towards New Heights and across New Frontiers’. It is also a bold step forward in its vision to become a global airline and to further elevate India’s position on the global aviation map.
The new Mumbai-Amsterdam service will operate thrice weekly with IndiGo’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft. Schiphol airport, Amsterdam is one of the world’s busiest airports and a key European hub. This route not only bolsters the airline’s fast-growing international network but also underlines its commitment to making long-haul travel more accessible, efficient, and affordable for Indian travellers. With this launch, customers flying to and from Amsterdam can seamlessly connect to the entire Europe, North America and Canada; and on IndiGo’s unparalleled domestic network of over 90 destinations within India.
