Eternal zooms despite reporting 90% fall in Q1 consolidated net profit

Eternal is currently trading at Rs. 295.05, up by 23.85 points or 8.79% from its previous closing of Rs. 271.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 292.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 311.60 and Rs. 289.95 respectively. So far 6043178 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 311.60 on 22-Jul-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 189.60 on 07-Apr-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 311.60 and Rs. 256.45 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 285264.37 crore.

Eternal has reported 28.09% rise in its net profit at Rs 602 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2025 as compared to Rs 470 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The total income of the company increased by 21.10% at Rs 2,818 crore for Q1FY26 as compared to Rs 2,327 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 90.12% fall in net profit at Rs 25 crore for Q1FY26 as compared to Rs 253 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 69.32% at Rs 7,521 crore for Q1FY26 as compared to Rs 4,442 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
