-1.30 (-0.54%) Godawari Power and Ispat has received approval to set up 0.7 MTPA Cold Rolling Mill (CRM) Project for manufacture of Heavy Structural Steel in Chhattisgarh. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 900 crore. The project will be funded by Rs 600 crore worth of debt and Rs 300 crore of internal accruals. The proposed capacity is expected to be added by April 2027. The board of directors of the company in their meeting held on August 5, 2025 have approved the same.
Godawari Power and Ispat is engaged in the production of sponge iron, steel billets, ferro alloys, HB wires, oxygen, fly ash bricks and is also in the power business.
