Videocon Mobile eyes to achieve Rs 2500 crore revenue by 2014-15 fiscal: Report

Videocon Mobile Services, the telecom subsidiary of Videocon Group, is reportedly targeting to generate Rs 2500 crore revenue by 2014-15 fiscal from the four circles Punjab, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh/Chattisgarh and Gujarat. The company has earned around Rs 1,000 crore this year in this four circles. Further, the company is also planning to invest Rs 150 crore in the next one year on marketing to popularise its new brand.

Recently, the company has unveiled three variants of Free Nation Incoming Roaming packs starting at as low as Rs 4 along with Rs 42 and Rs 68 offer pack. The Rs 4 pack offers free incoming national roaming calls up to 50 minutes and comes with a validity of 1 day.

Videocon Industries, established two decades ago, is a global conglomerate whose business consists of manufacturing, marketing and distribution of consumer electronics products and oil & gas extraction.
