Tata Communications (Tata Comm) is aiming to achieve top-line of Rs 400 crore from its media content transcoding and delivery service segment in the next five years. The company had unveiled this new service about six months ago under which it converts video content into digital form, stores it in data centre, provides access to authorised person only, on internet with additional softwares to facilitate workflow in media houses.
The company has already partnered with media group Viacom18 where it has started broadcast quality video transcoding and delivery service using cloud.
