Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M), a part of the $16.2 billion Mahindra Group, has hiked prices of its product portfolio on account of rising input costs due to rupee depreciation. The price hike will be effective from October 1 and the quantum of price increase will be in the range of Rs 6000-20000.Further, the company has hiked the prices of passenger and commercial vehicles by 2%.
The price hike comes on the expected lines and follows similar moves by the rival companies, as the company aims to offset the impact of adverse currency movement on its margins.
