SAIL’s Rourkela Steel Plant wins award in CCQC-2013

Steel Authority of India’s (SAIL) - Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) has won awards in the 21st Chapter Convention on Quality Concepts-2013 (CCQC). All the 12 quality circles representing RSP have won awards in CCQC.

In the convention organized by Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI), eleven QC teams of RSP won the Gold Award. They are Uday Quality circle of Hot Strip Mill, Ingenious of Coke Ovens, Pioneer of Electronics & Electrical Services, Anweshan of Blast Furnace, Dynamic of Plate Mill, Naya kiran and Udaan of Steel Melting Shop-II, Disha of Ore Bedding and Blending Plant, Synergy of Coke Ovens, Chetana of Blast Furnace and Sandhaan of Hot Strip Mill.

Besides, Siddhant of Steel Melting Shop - I won the Silver Award. In all 64 Quality Circles consisting of 450 members and delegates from 24 organizations participated in the convention.
