Physical Rubber prices declined on Saturday

Physical Rubber prices declined on Saturday due to extremely low volumes and scattered transactions in the market.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety declined to Rs 172 compared to its previous closing of Rs 173; while the RSS-5 variety closed at Rs 168 compared to its previous closing of Rs 169.

In the futures market, contract of October delivery improved to Rs 172 compared to its previous close of Rs 171.79, while November delivery closed at Rs 171.50 compared to its previous closing of Rs 170.65 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
