Date: 03-10-2013Eicher Motors and Volvo Group’s joint venture firm, VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) has reported 11% fall in its total sales of Eicher branded products at 2,803 units in September 2013 as against 3,150 units in the same month previous year.
The company’s domestic sales declined 22% at 2,361 units in September 2013 as against 3,026 units in the year-ago period.
On the exports front, Eicher trucks and buses have recorded sales of 442 units in September 2013 as compared to 124 units in September 2012, representing a three-fold increase over the same period of last year.
