Cochin Shipyard bags order worth over Rs 2000 crore from European client

Cochin Shipyard has bagged a mega order of more than Rs 2000 crore from a prominent European client for the design and construction of 6 feeder container vessels, each with a capacity of abt. 1,700 TEU and powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG). A letter of intent (LoI) in this regard was signed on October 14, 2025. 

Cochin Shipyard is the first Greenfield and presently the most modern shipbuilding and ship repair yard in India.
