-65.30 (-0.69%) Motorcycle manufacturer Bajaj Auto is planning to hike motorcycle prices in the range of Rs 500-Rs 5,000 in the next few days. The company, back in September, disclosed its intent of raising product prices to offset the impact of high input costs and a weak rupee.
Bajaj Auto is a $2.3 billion company founded in 1926. It is world’s fourth largest two and three-wheeler manufacturer. Bajaj Auto has three plants in all, two at Waluj and Chakan in Maharashtra and one plant at Pant Nagar in Uttaranchal.
