0.45 (0.12%) Coal India has reported fall of 9.8% in coal production to 56.4 million tonnes (MT) (Provisional) during October 2025 as compared to 62.5 MT (Provisional) in October 2024. It produced 385.5 MT (Provisional) of coal during April- October period, down 4.5% from 403.8 MT (Provisional) during the same period previous year.
In October 2025, coal offtake decreased by 5.9% to 58.3 MT (Provisional) from 62.0 MT (Provisional) in October 2024. The total offtake of coal during the April- October period decreased to 415.3 MT (Provisional), down 2.4% from 425.6 MT (Provisional) in the corresponding period last fiscal.
