NTPC’s subsidiary -- Patratu Vidyut Utpadan Nigam (PVUNL) is all set to commence commercial operation of Unit 1 (800 MW) of Patratu STPP, Phase - 1 (3x800 MW) from November 5, 2025. With this, the total installed and commercial capacity of NTPC group will become 84849 MW.
