Bajaj Finance declines despite reporting 22% rise in Q2 consolidated net profit

Bajaj Finance is currently trading at Rs. 1001.70, down by 83.70 points or 7.71% from its previous closing of Rs. 1085.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1042.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1044.65 and Rs. 997.00 respectively. So far 958150 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1102.45 on 23-Oct-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 645.31 on 21-Nov-2024.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1087.90 and Rs. 997.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 625079.42 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 54.66%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 36.44% and 8.89% respectively.

Bajaj Finance has reported 24.28% decline in its net profit at Rs 4,250.77 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2025 (Q2FY26) as compared to Rs 5,613.71 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, the total income of the company increased by 18.59% at Rs 17,186.09 crore for Q2FY26 as compared to Rs 14,491.79 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 21.89% rise in its net profit at Rs 4,875.36 crore for Q2FY26 as compared to Rs 3,999.73 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The total income of the company increased by 18.05% at Rs 20,180.76 crore for Q2FY26 as compared to Rs 17,095.41 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
