IndiGo gains on getting nod to invest $820 million in IndiGo IFSC

Interglobe Aviation is currently trading at Rs. 5853.50, up by 66.65 points or 1.15% from its previous closing of Rs. 5786.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 5775.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 5855.60 and Rs. 5757.00 respectively. So far 9810 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 6225.05 on 18-Aug-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 3946.40 on 22-Jan-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 5896.85 and Rs. 5674.95 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 226000.57 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 41.58%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 53.10% and 5.32% respectively.

InterGlobe Aviation (IndiGo) has received approval for capital investment of $820 million (around Rs 7294 crore) in its wholly owned subsidiary, InterGlobe Aviafion Financial Services IFSC (IndiGo IFSC). The Investment will be made through combination of equity shares and 0.01% Non-Cumulative Optionally Convertible Redeemable Preference Shares (OCRPS), in one or more tranches. The funds raised by IndiGo IFSC shall be primarily deployed towards acquisition of aviation assets, thereby enabling ownership of aircraft. The board of directors of the company in its meeting held on November 21, 2025, inter alia, considered and approved the same.

Interglobe Aviation provides air transportation services in India and internationally. The company primarily operates IndiGo passenger airline.
