-7.30 (-0.62%) JSW Steel has reported Crude Steel production for Q2 FY 2013-14, at 2.98 million tonnes showing a growth of 37%. The production of rolled products (flat) increased by 69% to 2.45 lakh tonnes in 2Q FY ’14. The production of rolled products (long) during the month increased by 3% at 0.46 lakh tonnes in 2Q FY ’14.The Company achieved Crude Steel production of 5.84 million tonnes in the first half of FY 2013-14, showing a growth of 35% (on Pro forma basis 3%) over corresponding period of last year.
The Company took shutdown of one of its Corex furnaces for relining and capacity enhancement during the quarter and the same has recommenced production from 12th September 2013.
