JSW Steel Ltd.

JSW Steel has informed that the Board of Directors of JSW Steel (the Company) in their meeting held on December 3, 2025, has approved entering into a strategic joint venture partnership, with JFE Steel Corporation Japan (JFE) for the business undertaking of Bhushan Power and Steel (BPSL) consisting of its steel business (BPSL business undertaking). BPSL was acquired in 2021 through the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) process. Since the acquisition, BPSL has been turned around and the crude steel capacity has been expanded from 2.75 MTPA to 4.5 MTPA.
