Nifty December 2025 futures close at a premium of 71.90 points over spot closing

Nifty December 2025 futures closed at 25932.00 (LTP) on Tuesday, at a premium of 71.90 points over spot closing of 25860.10, while Nifty January 2026 futures ended at 26099.00 (LTP), at a premium of 238.90 points over spot closing. Nifty December futures saw an addition of 4,792 units, taking the total open interest (Contracts) to 2,16,459 units. The near month derivatives contract will expire on December 30, 2025. (Provisional) 

From the most active contracts, Vedanta December 2025 futures traded at a premium of 2.30 points at 574.80 (LTP) compared with spot closing of 572.50. The numbers of contracts traded were 58,278. (Provisional) 

HDFC Bank December 2025 futures traded at a premium of 4.50 points at 998.70 (LTP) compared with spot closing of 994.20. The numbers of contracts traded were 37,722. (Provisional) 

Axis Bank December 2025 futures traded at a premium of 4.00 points at 1223.00 (LTP) compared with spot closing of 1219.00. The numbers of contracts traded were 34,054. (Provisional) 

ETERNAL December 2025 futures traded at a premium of 0.50 points at 285.00 (LTP) compared with spot closing of 284.50. The numbers of contracts traded were 22,795. (Provisional) 

Infosys December 2025 futures traded at a premium of 5.20 points at 1597.80 (LTP) compared with spot closing of 1592.60. The numbers of contracts traded were 20,223. (Provisional)
