NTPC has received approval from Board of Directors for formation of a Joint Venture Company with EDF Power Solutions India (50:50) in India for development of Pumped Storage Plants (PSP) and for formation of a wholly owned subsidiary in Mauritius for developing Power Projects including Floating Solar Photovoltaic (FSPV) Project in Mauritius.

The Board of Directors of the Company in their meeting held on December 23, 2025, has inter-alia approved the same. 

NTPC is the largest power utility company in India and has presence in Coal, Gas, Solar PV, Hydro and Wind Power Generation and Coal Mining.
