F&O total turnover stood at Rs 2,69,90,439.27 crore on January 16

Futures & Options (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 2,69,90,439.27 crore on January 16 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 16,72,12,227.

Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 25,416.32 crore, Stock Futures Rs 1,20,205.27 crore and Index Options Rs 2,60,92,397.84 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 7,52,419.84 crore.

For the day, the total F&O Put Call ratio stood 0.92, while the Index Options Put Call ratio was 0.96 and that of Stock Options was 0.47.
