FIIs were net buyers of Rs 18698.00 crore in index futures and options segments on January 16

According to the data released by the NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 18698.00 crore in index futures and options segments, as per Friday’s data, January 16, 2026.

FIIs were net buyers of index futures to the tune of Rs 1525.06 crore and net buyers of index options worth Rs 17172.94 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net buyers of stock futures worth Rs 284.94 crore and they bought stock options worth Rs 17.54 crore.
