Bharat Heavy Electricals informs about updates

Bharat Heavy Electricals has informed about the approval of a capital investment scheme by the Board of Directors for the establishment of a new BHEL plant at Karkhiyaon, Varanasi, that was submitted to Stock Exchange on 23.01.2024 under the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. Pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations & Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, Bharat Heavy Electricals has informed that the Board of Directors in its Meeting held today (19.01.2026) has approved short closure of the above scheme, considering the current business landscape. The products originally planned for the new plant at Karkhiyaon, Varanasi, are now being planned at other BHEL locations. Time of commencement of the Meeting: 10:50 am Time of conclusion of the Meeting: 11.28 am.
