Tata Communications informs about selection of MD & CEO

Pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Regulations, Tata Communications has informed that based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held today, January 21, 2026, has selected Ganesh Lakshminarayanan to be appointed as Managing Director (MD) & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) (Designate) of the company. The Board of the company will subsequently appoint Ganesh Lakshminarayanan as the Managing Director & CEO effective a future date upon receipt of applicable regulatory approvals. The Company shall intimate the Stock Exchanges when such regulatory approvals are received and Ganesh Lakshminarayanan is appointed as Managing Director & CEO by the Board of Directors. A brief profile of Ganesh Lakshminarayanan is enclosed as Attachment A. Further details as required under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Regulations read with SEBI Master Circular No. SEBI/HO/CFD/PoD2/CIR/P/0155 dated November 11, 2024, as amended, shall be provided in due course once the appointment is finalised by the Board. A press release in this regard is enclosed as Attachment B. The Board Meeting commenced at 11.00 hours and concluded at 13.55 hours.
