Premier Energies begins 400 MW solar photovoltaic cell manufacturing facility in Telangana

Premier Energies, through its wholly owned subsidiary Premier Energies Photovoltaic, has commissioned a 400 MW Solar Photovoltaic Cell (Mono PERC) manufacturing facility at its E-City plant, Maheshwaram, Telangana. This commissioning is part of a brownfield expansion of the company’s existing cell manufacturing operations and has been achieved through the installation of additional equipment while leveraging the existing infrastructure and utilities at the facility. Post commissioning the cell line, the operational capacity for cells stands at 3.6 GW.
