HDB Financial Services informs about resignation of independent director

Pursuant to Regulation 30 of SEBI Listing Regulations, HDB Financial Services has informed that Arijit Basu (DIN: 06907779), has tendered his resignation as the Non-Executive Independent Director & Chairman of the Company, on January 23, 2026 with immediate effect, for reasons as mentioned in the resignation letter. Consequently, he shall also cease to be a Member/Chairman of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and the Special Committee of the Board for Monitoring and Follow-up of cases of Frauds of the Company. The Company places on record its sincere appreciation to Arijit Basu for his invaluable advice, stellar guidance and support during his tenure as Non-Executive Independent Director & Chairman of the Company. The information in regard to the above-mentioned change in the Board composition in terms of Regulation 30 read with Para A (7B) of Part A of Schedule III of the SEBI Listing Regulations is enclosed.
