Date: 24-10-2013Kotak Mahindra Bank has reported results for the second quarter ended September 30, 2013.
The bank has reported 25.74% rise in its net profit at Rs 352.54 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 280.38 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank has increased by 13.56% at Rs 2469.46 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 2174.50 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2012.
On the consolidated basis, the group has registered a growth of 16.08% in net profit after tax at Rs 582.93 crore as compared to Rs 502.17 crore in the same quarter previous year. However, total income of the group declined 8.42% to Rs 3695.98 crore for quarter under review as against Rs 4035.75 crore in corresponding quarter previous year.
