Physical rubber prices decline after a series of gains

Physical rubber prices declined on Tuesday after a series of gains, following the declines in domestic futures. Though, the dealers were not selling but the prices slipped on buyer resistance.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety closed at Rs 226 compared to its previous closing of Rs 227, while RSS-5 variety closed at Rs 224 compared to its previous closing of Rs 225.

In the futures market, contract of RSS 4 for June delivery closed at Rs 225.25 compared to its previous closing of Rs 227.08, while contract for July delivery closed at Rs 229.30 compared to its previous closing of Rs 231.53 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange.
