The company has reported a fall of 75.27% in its net profit at Rs 75.38 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 304.81 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income from operation of the company has decreased by 18.08% at Rs 1289.97 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 1574.76 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2012.
On the consolidated basis, the group has registered fall of 36.00% in net profit after taxes, minority interest and Share of Profit of Associates at Rs 162.59 crore as compared to Rs 254.04 crore in the same quarter previous year. Total income from operation of the company has decreased by 1.99% to Rs 2079.56 crore for quarter under review as against Rs 2121.82 crore in corresponding quarter previous year.
