Dr Reddys Laboratories reports 69% rise in Q2 consolidated net profit

Dr Reddys Laboratories has reported results for the second quarter ended September 30, 2013.

The company has reported over 2-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 773.38 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 363.03 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has increased by 20.61% at Rs 2740.90 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 2272.44 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2012.

On the consolidated basis, the group has registered a growth of 69.41% in net profit at Rs 690.25 crore as compared to Rs 407.44 crore in the same quarter previous year. Total income of the group rose 17.14% to Rs 3421.12 crore for quarter under review as against Rs 2920.49 crore in corresponding quarter previous year.
